about our partnerships
One of Ermha’s highest priorities is to create and strengthen the work we do with other agencies. The better we do this the better we are able to support our clients.
Our clients may rely on other organisations for medical, legal or housing support. Some clients use migrant agencies or language services. When Ermha and its partners work well together clients experience an integrated and ideally seamless delivery of services.
Our funding partners, and in particular the Victorian Government Departments of Human Services and Heath, ensure Ermha has the resources we require to support our clients.
We use the phrase “informal partnerships” to describe the connections we have with other agencies where we do not have in place formal agreements or funding arrangements. For example, Ermha partnered with the Victorian College for the Deaf to improve training opportunities at MadCap Cafe for hearing impaired people. The main idea behind our informal partnerships is to assist our clients to make the best possible use of other services relevant to their needs.
