ermha365 has been appointed to deliver the Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response (EIPSR) program for Forensicare.
ermha365 is an existing provider of EIPSR services in the Barwon region and also has a long history of working with Forensicare to support people with complex histories and presentations to live safe and meaningful lives in the community on transition from Thomas Embling Hospital.
The Forensicare EIPSR program delivered by ermha365 will improve the mental health outcomes of people with a severe mental illness who do not qualify for the NDIS, or are waiting for their NDIS plan to begin.
Jackie Ashmore, Chief Operations Officer Mental Health, Forensic and Community Services at ermha365, added “Having worked within the forensic setting for the past 13 years, seven of them with Forensicare, I feel privileged to be able to come back to this setting with ermha365 to continue the important work of supporting consumers with mental illness to reintegrate into the community. The ermha365 team is highly experienced in this work, and excited to begin working with Forensicare consumers.”
Forensicare launched its new Strategic Plan in November 2021 which includes a commitment to supporting strong collaborative partnerships that support consumers who are at risk of entering , or who have entered the criminal justice system. Used in conjunction with Forensicare’s model of care, the plan sets out how Forensicare will deliver best practice mental health care and treatment for consumers, ensuring people get the right care, at the right time, in the right place and by the right people.
ermha365 will work with Foreniscare as their partner in the delivery of the Early Intervention Psychosocial Response program. The program is a key element of the suite of services and supports Foreniscare offer to assist people to live safe and meaningful lives in the community after transitioning from Forensicare services.
